Kim has been with our practice for over 32 years, 25 years of which she has worked with Dr. Kokodynski. She started her dental career as a dental assistant, and as a child she always knew she wanted to be in the dental field helping others. Kim strives to make all patients welcome, comfortable and helpful. When not in the office she enjoys spending time with her family, camping and yearly trip to Disneyland.
Lupe is a Phoenix College graduate in the Dental Hygiene class of 1985. She started her career as a dental assistant. Lupe has been in our office for 35 years, 25 of those years have been with Dr. Kokodynski. Lupe was born in Mexico, but has lived in Phoenix most of her life; she spends her time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Jessie has been a dental assistant since 2016, and has been working for Dr. Kokodynski for 4 years. She has gained a lot of patient care knowledge through her experienced coworkers in the office. She is always striving to provide the best care for her patients. When Jessie is not working she likes to sew, ride bicycles and cook.
Julie has been a part of the dental field for 37 years. She started out as a dental assistant while in High School. While taking classes for Dental Hygiene, she worked full time as a Dental Assistant. Julie started out helping as needed with Dr. Kokodynski in 2003. Eventually, it became a part-time position, leading into full time. When asked what her favorite part of being a hygienist is she states, “I love every aspect of hygiene, getting to know the patients and building relationships of trust. I enjoy educating my patients about oral health and knowing that I am helping people, providing a service that is important. I will always take the time to listen to each patient and answer any questions.” When not in the office she enjoys hiking, crafts, attending plays, reading, trying out new restaurants and time with her little dog Lilly.
Jerri is a new member in Dr. Kokodynski’s office, but she is not new to Dentistry. With over 20 years of experience, she offers knowledge, a steady hand beside the doctor, and a strong desire to help her patients wherever needed. Jerri studied dental assisting at Grossmont Health Occupations in California, then got her RDA. As a recent transplant from Florida, she and her husband are busy getting to know Arizona and its wonderful weather, views and food!
A Phoenix native, Mary grew up working in her father’s pediatric dental office starting at age 12. Her education took her to Kenilworth, West High, Phoenix College (RDH), NAU and O’Hehir University (BS). Mary takes every opportunity to advance her education in order to provide the highest level of care to her patients. In addition to many years in private practice, Mary was appointed by Governor Rose Mofford to serve on the AZ Board of Dental Examiners, served as a Dental Hygiene instructor at Phoenix College, and has been an officer (Delegate, Vice President, and President) of the Arizona State Dental Hygiene Association. In her free time Mary enjoys cooking, reading, traveling and spending time with her son James and her Welsh Corgi Maggie.
